Lead Product Owner, PIM and Search (m/w/d)

Germany, Berlin, BerlinTech, Product & Data

Your Tasks

At Shop Apotheke we are all about health! Our e-pharmacy serves 7.9M customers across Europe, and we welcome new users every week. We are growing the existing platform and adding entirely new services to it. Our goal is to enable our customers to live their healthiest lives possible.

We are looking for a Lead Product Owner to join our team in Cologne or Berlin. Come, build with us!

Your tasks:

  • Take ownership of the Awareness area of our Product. Our application is complex and we split it into multiple areas, so there are two or three cross-functional teams developing the product in each area. The Awareness area Product teams manage services like PIM, Search and newsletter subscription.  You will align interests in your area; make sure that multiple teams can work together to reach one goal; identify the resources you need to fulfil the goals for your Product area and manage those resources.

  • Work with other Lead Product Owners to separate concerns and address dependencies among the different Product areas. All the teams are on a mission to enable our customers to live their healthiest lives possible and to deliver measurable value to the customers. As part of the group of Lead Product Owners, you will coordinate the interactions across areas. Together, you will find ways to reduce the unnecessary overhead of work or reduce unnecessary friction across teams.

  • Enable the Product Owners from your area to be successful and effective. You will be there to support your team members in levelling up their professional skills. You will create personal growth plans with the POs in your area; conduct regular one-on-ones with them and support knowledge exchange among Product Owners.

  • Balance Product Discovery and Product Delivery activities. You will encourage the Product Owners to iterate on the problems your Product area is addressing and you will drive a user-centred approach. You will find a pragmatic way to turn the team’s most promising ideas into prototypes and enable the process of validation and refinement.
